What, that he don't care that much about ya? Pretty sure love interests are s'posed to have interest from both sides.

[derailer]

"Well, I'm not interested in him anymore, either! So there. I don't know why everyone is flocking to help him! Right, Mienshao?"

She sends out Mienshao, who cries out in assent.

[stirtheblood]

Well, don't ask me. I dunno either. I don't even remember the guy. I'm just here to battle.

[Vicious assesses Mienshao]

Litten, ya wanna take this one?

[It just kinda looks like someone Litten should beat]

[derailer]

"Fine. That works just fine for me! Prepare to lose!"

Litten nods and hops down, preparing to fight! He has no particular advantage, but he still has +3.

[stirtheblood]

Right back at ya!

[Despite his strength, Litten only squeaks by with a 7.]

Mienshao still has more experience than Litten does. She opens with a Fake Out, interrupting Litten's attack, and then manages to hit with a powerful High Jump Kick after that, flinging Litten into midair. Even though Litten's Flamethrower has a lot of power behind it, and prevails in the end, he looks banged up.

"Ooohhhh... That was a fluke!"

[stirtheblood]

[Even though Vicious now knows that healing is straightforward, he still flinches when Litten is hit. He doesn't fuss too obviously, since he doesn't want this girl to take that as a victory, but he does go over and pick Litten up once Mienshao is down, holding him against his chest.]

Oh yeah? Well, try me again anytime.

[derailer]

"Ugh. Meet me in the real world one day, and we'll have a rematch!"

Litten presses close to you, soothing both you and himself. But the girl comes over a moment later to heal Litten to full health.

"There. Go to the next car, I guess."

[stirtheblood]

...Sure. In the "real world."

[Vicious doesn't really know what that means either. But healing is good, so his mood improves immediately when Litten recovers, petting him as he continues forward.]

[derailer]

In the next car, you are greeted by... a man on a motorcycle. Really? Inside of the train?

"I'm a heartbreaker... My name... Charles. Riding a bike and becoming the wind fits a bad boy like me. Not getting tangled up in a clingy wet blanket like Ingo. I've moved on, and so should he. He's better off forgetting all of that."

[stirtheblood]

Oooh, here's the "it's better to not remember" side, huh?

Well, I dunno enough about him or about you breakin' his heart to know if it's better or worse he forgets it. Don't think you do either, though. And it sounds like he wants to know.

[derailer]

"Hey, man, what about what I want? Where's the problem in me fighting for what I want too?"

[stirtheblood]

No problem with that. But since we're talkin' about him, I'm gonna side with his wants on this one.

Which means you're fightin' me.

[derailer]

"This place is stacked against me. But I guess I'd better rise to the challenge, or I'm never gonna get outta here. Let's go, Basculin!"

A red-striped Basculin pops out of his Pokeball.

[stirtheblood]

Haa? Ain't that a fish?

[Vicious is more sure that a fish shouldn't be on a train than he is that a motorcycle shouldn't be.]

...Well, whatever. Hmm, Sneasel, how 'bout it?

[He directs this to the alpha.]

[derailer]

The other Sneasel turns to look at the Snovers, who have the clear type advantage in this situation. They look back.

But the alpha Sneasel is all too happy to step forward, raising a claw threateningly with a proud little growl. She can have a +2 too, through alpha power!!

[stirtheblood]

[Vicious witnesses this exchange of looks, but does not know what it's about.

The important part is that Sneasel is raring to go!! She gets an 11!]

[derailer]

Screw you Basculin! Sneasel is using Swords Dance and then Close Combat to teach that fish a lesson for trying to ride a train! Snawrrr! It's a good thing Basculins are already used to rough treatment.

[stirtheblood]

[Sneasel looks way more like she could destroy a fish than Snover anyway!!]

Ha! Easy win for you, huh?

[derailer]

Sneasel preens at the praise. Obviously it was easy! Because she's so cool!

"Guess it's time for me to move on and catch a new wind too..." says Charles as he moves his motorcycle out of the way of the aisle, by the train doors.

[stirtheblood]

Thought ya said ya moved on already? Well, better late than never, I guess.

[Vicious proceeds forward.]

[derailer]

"This time, it's literal."

Anyway. You move forward. In this car is a woman in a Pearl Clan uniform.

"I won't stand for it. A strange foreigner like him coming in and stealing all of my thunder. I was a fan of Pokemon before he ever arrived, you know! But I read the room and listened to the clan, and I politely didn't bring any in! On top of that he's dangerously loud, and doesn't know any proper etiquette, and won't stop wearing those rags... No tact at all!"

[stirtheblood]

[This is the argument Vicious is least sympathetic to so far.]

...Eh? The hell're you talkin' about? He didn't steal nothin'. Sounds to me like you were too scared to be thunderin', and you just got jealous that he wasn't.

[derailer]

"It's called keeping the peace! But I guess there's no peace to be had anymore! Isn't that right, Bergmite?!"

She sends Bergmite out of an old-fashioned Pokeball!
