Oooh, here's the "it's better to not remember" side, huh?

Well, I dunno enough about him or about you breakin' his heart to know if it's better or worse he forgets it. Don't think you do either, though. And it sounds like he wants to know.

[derailer]

"Hey, man, what about what I want? Where's the problem in me fighting for what I want too?"

[stirtheblood]

No problem with that. But since we're talkin' about him, I'm gonna side with his wants on this one.

Which means you're fightin' me.

[derailer]

"This place is stacked against me. But I guess I'd better rise to the challenge, or I'm never gonna get outta here. Let's go, Basculin!"

A red-striped Basculin pops out of his Pokeball.

[stirtheblood]

Haa? Ain't that a fish?

[Vicious is more sure that a fish shouldn't be on a train than he is that a motorcycle shouldn't be.]

...Well, whatever. Hmm, Sneasel, how 'bout it?

[He directs this to the alpha.]

The other Sneasel turns to look at the Snovers, who have the clear type advantage in this situation. They look back.

But the alpha Sneasel is all too happy to step forward, raising a claw threateningly with a proud little growl. She can have a +2 too, through alpha power!!

[stirtheblood]

[Vicious witnesses this exchange of looks, but does not know what it's about.

The important part is that Sneasel is raring to go!! She gets an 11!]

Screw you Basculin! Sneasel is using Swords Dance and then Close Combat to teach that fish a lesson for trying to ride a train! Snawrrr! It's a good thing Basculins are already used to rough treatment.

[stirtheblood]

[Sneasel looks way more like she could destroy a fish than Snover anyway!!]

Ha! Easy win for you, huh?

[derailer]

Sneasel preens at the praise. Obviously it was easy! Because she's so cool!

"Guess it's time for me to move on and catch a new wind too..." says Charles as he moves his motorcycle out of the way of the aisle, by the train doors.

[stirtheblood]

Thought ya said ya moved on already? Well, better late than never, I guess.

[Vicious proceeds forward.]

[derailer]

"This time, it's literal."

Anyway. You move forward. In this car is a woman in a Pearl Clan uniform.

"I won't stand for it. A strange foreigner like him coming in and stealing all of my thunder. I was a fan of Pokemon before he ever arrived, you know! But I read the room and listened to the clan, and I politely didn't bring any in! On top of that he's dangerously loud, and doesn't know any proper etiquette, and won't stop wearing those rags... No tact at all!"

[stirtheblood]

[This is the argument Vicious is least sympathetic to so far.]

...Eh? The hell're you talkin' about? He didn't steal nothin'. Sounds to me like you were too scared to be thunderin', and you just got jealous that he wasn't.

[derailer]

"It's called keeping the peace! But I guess there's no peace to be had anymore! Isn't that right, Bergmite?!"

She sends Bergmite out of an old-fashioned Pokeball!

Ooh, an ice one...

[That is one type advantage that Vicious does know at least. Shadow Ingo told him!!]

Hm... Litten already had a turn, though. Anyone else wanna go? It looks pretty weak.

[derailer]

The non-alpha Sneasel seems excited to volunteer, raising a claw. He has type advantage too! He can get +2! Pick him!!

"Hey! Bergmite is perfect!"

[stirtheblood]

We'll see about that, huh? Go for it, Sneasel!

[He gets a 9!]

[derailer]

This Sneasel also tries Close Combat, but it doesn't quite take Bergmite out, and that makes him vulnerable to Bergmite's Double-Edge! He takes some painful-looking damage from Bergmite's spiky tackle, but in the end, of course he will emerge victorious.

"Noooo...!"

[stirtheblood]

Got 'im!

[Vicious crouches down to subtly fuss over Sneasel too.]

...Though, hey, ya got a pretty good hit in. Maybe if ya worried less about bein' peaceful ya'd get pretty good at fightin'.

[derailer]

This woman is taking out a less modern potion to heal Sneasel with, unscrewing a jar.

"Ooohhh... Maybe. It does seem like it's the new thing nowadays. Even if that's his doing..."

[stirtheblood]

[Vicious gives the jar a suspicious look. But healing is okay]

...Don't worry about what he's doin', or what's a thing. Do it if you wanna do it.

[derailer]

She applies the medicine topically. Sneasel feels all better now!

"Fine. Maybe I will! For now, I guess you can go to the next 'car'."

She only kind of knows what this vehicle is. But she gets out of your way, sitting down on the bench once Sneasel is healed.

[stirtheblood]

Sure. Well, have fun with whatever ya decide to do.

[He heads to the next car!]

[derailer]

You move into the next car to see—well. He can tell you himself.

"Oh! My! Almighty Sinnoh! To think that the Great Melli would be forced into the presence of such a blockhead! Where do I even begin with that haggard old man?!"

Melli has a Skuntank with him, already out and about, with no trace of a Pokeball. It grunts in acknowledgment.

What, is this a train of people complainin' about stuff that ain't any of their problem? If ya don't wanna start with it, ya could just skip all that.

[Vicious's Pokémon are all out and about already, of course.]

Snorunt, ya wanna see how great this guy actually is?
