This Sneasel also tries Close Combat, but it doesn't quite take Bergmite out, and that makes him vulnerable to Bergmite's Double-Edge! He takes some painful-looking damage from Bergmite's spiky tackle, but in the end, of course he will emerge victorious.
You move into the next car to see—well. He can tell you himself.
"Oh! My! Almighty Sinnoh! To think that the Great Melli would be forced into the presence of such a blockhead! Where do I even begin with that haggard old man?!"
Melli has a Skuntank with him, already out and about, with no trace of a Pokeball. It grunts in acknowledgment.
Melli wails, kneeling beside his fainted companion.
"You brute! He's... he's actually playing! He's pretending to lose because he pities you! I suppose I have no choice but to honor Skuntank's decision...! You may pass!!"
He dramatically turns away, still hugging Skuntank.
Snorunt is happy though, cheering and dancing around you happily.
"It would be particularly galling to lose to you. Even if he is oppressive sometimes, and I wasn't signing up for this level of commitment, that doesn't mean I want him running back into your arms. So what do you say, Sigilyph?"
Sigilyph flies out of her ball, flapping her wings!
["Back into your arms" is certainly implying some things that Vicious had not been imagining about this relationship.]
If he's with you now, it's 'cause he wants to be, right? And presumably 'cause you want to be too, and not just to keep him away from me. ...'Least, the real you, right?
[Vicious is at this point beginning to grasp that this is probably some kind of metaphor for Ingo's insecurities, and not a literal scenario in which Ingo's exes and his depressing alter ego have lined up in a train with complaints and Pokémon.]

[The male Snover is the one left who hasn't had a turn this time, so Vicious turns to him.]
"Oh, bravo! I wouldn't have expected you to pick up on all of that, let alone as a complete amnesiac. It's not a tournament for anyone's love, and I'm an illusion reflected in his mind. Though there's a small chance that I'm real, of course. So I can keep taking advantage of that small chance indefinitely!"
Snover is excited to try his luck. He makes a noise of assent, nodding! Let's go +2!!
[This woman is for sure acting like she knows him. However, she is being insulting enough about it that Vicious doesn't really want to ask her any questions.]
Eh, I dunno, I think it's gonna be pretty pretty definite.
"You realize the super-effectiveness here goes both ways, don't you?"
Sigilyph doesn't attack at first, biding her time and charging some energy, cloaked in a harsh light. Snover gets cocky with how successful he is in roughing Sigilyph up with an Icicle Crash. He isn't expecting Sky Attack to come for him with such power! He tumbles to the ground temporarily with the force of the aerial assault.
...But he hangs in there! Sigilyph's attempt to wipe Snover out in one attack failed! And now he can send more icicles to defeat Sigilyph.
