"It would be particularly galling to lose to you. Even if he is oppressive sometimes, and I wasn't signing up for this level of commitment, that doesn't mean I want him running back into your arms. So what do you say, Sigilyph?"
Sigilyph flies out of her ball, flapping her wings!
["Back into your arms" is certainly implying some things that Vicious had not been imagining about this relationship.]
If he's with you now, it's 'cause he wants to be, right? And presumably 'cause you want to be too, and not just to keep him away from me. ...'Least, the real you, right?
[Vicious is at this point beginning to grasp that this is probably some kind of metaphor for Ingo's insecurities, and not a literal scenario in which Ingo's exes and his depressing alter ego have lined up in a train with complaints and Pokémon.]
If that's the best ya got, I bet I can knock ya out just as easy as the rest of 'em. Snover?
[The male Snover is the one left who hasn't had a turn this time, so Vicious turns to him.]
"Oh, bravo! I wouldn't have expected you to pick up on all of that, let alone as a complete amnesiac. It's not a tournament for anyone's love, and I'm an illusion reflected in his mind. Though there's a small chance that I'm real, of course. So I can keep taking advantage of that small chance indefinitely!"
Snover is excited to try his luck. He makes a noise of assent, nodding! Let's go +2!!
[This woman is for sure acting like she knows him. However, she is being insulting enough about it that Vicious doesn't really want to ask her any questions.]
Eh, I dunno, I think it's gonna be pretty pretty definite.
"You realize the super-effectiveness here goes both ways, don't you?"
Sigilyph doesn't attack at first, biding her time and charging some energy, cloaked in a harsh light. Snover gets cocky with how successful he is in roughing Sigilyph up with an Icicle Crash. He isn't expecting Sky Attack to come for him with such power! He tumbles to the ground temporarily with the force of the aerial assault.
...But he hangs in there! Sigilyph's attempt to wipe Snover out in one attack failed! And now he can send more icicles to defeat Sigilyph.
"Rude. I guess that's what I get, hanging around here. Ah, well. It was a good fight!"
She strides over to heal Snover, who is barely paying attention to the healing, since he is turning to Vicious, expression bright as he basks in the approval.
"You wish," she says, straightening up and recalling Sigilyph into her Pokeball. "I may be dating them, but I'm not a Subway Boss myself. The next car will be the last one."
She sits down on the bench with a flourish, crossing her legs.
You proceed forward. Here in the final car, you may at last confront the Subway Boss, Emmet. He is standing in the middle of the car, his posture completely unthreatened and casual, with the same wide smile that is almost always on his face. But there is fog swirling around him, stretching out into bars like a cage.
Ain't exactly his fault he forgot everythin', is it? And anyway, he remembers now. Do ya wanna spend all your time bein' sad about what's in the past, or do ya wanna go forward and be happy with what ya got now?
His smile takes on a more manic energy as he spreads his arms out in a quick, powerful motion, heedless of the fog "cage" as he shows off a Pokeball clutched in each hand.
"I am Emmet. I am a Subway Boss. I like Double Battles. I like combinations of two Pokemon. And I like winning more than anything else. So we are going to have a Double Battle now."
Litten will take on Eelektross while Sneasel handles Archeops. Emmet's team has decided to gang up on Sneasel first, hitting her with Aerial Ace and Thunder Wave! But though it hurts, and she's finding it harder to move, she can still take out Archeops with her Fighting moves. Litten, meanwhile, can use his trusty strategy of shooting a lot of fire at Eelektross. Why fix something that ain't broken?
In the end, you come out victorious. Emmet hums as he watches his Pokemon fall.
"I am Emmet. I lost against you. But that is okay, because it is helping Ingo. I will give you a reward to help Ingo more."
He pulls out a strange tablet, handing it over. It is engraved, again. If you seek Litten's help, it reads: "It gathers power from the Plates, listening for the flute's song."
[Litten shooting a lot of fire is simply the best strategy. What better strategy could there be?
Vicious cheers loudly, ruffles Sneasel, and picks up Litten, taking his time celebrating before placing him back on his head so he can actually take the plate from Emmet.]
Well, you're right about one thing. Winnin' battles is pretty fun.

Later, then. Maybe ya should find somewhere more fun to hang out.

Litten and Sneasel, ya wanna go?

"Go!" Emmet is also ready, and he sends out both Archeops and Eelektross.
You will need to win a successful dice roll against both of them in order to win!

[Vicious leans forward in anticipation, eyes darting between all the Pokemon as they face off.
Since they are both smart enough to avoid attacking with type disadvantage even if Vicious is not, Litten gets an 11, and Sneasel gets a 9!]
