The situation on the Victory Line train platform is very similar. It's densely foggy, with a train already pulled up, only one car open for entry. You can see behind the fog that there are photos in this train car, too.
The scenes depicted in the pictures include: - A child Ingo consoling Emmet in a glittering cave. - A baby Axew hatching from an egg. - Hilda and her Serperior in a subway car, posed for battle. - Ingo and Emmet in brand-new Subway Boss uniforms with a pair of Klinks. - A Litwick held by a school teacher. - A large man with large hair, applauding.
As you touch the picture, you suddenly understand something (as if you didn't already understand):
As fans of trains, and fans of Pokemon battles, the Battle Subway was always your dream career. But rather than work your way up within it, you managed to get them to come to you. By taking the Gym Challenge, conquering the Pokemon League and Champion in an unofficial capacity, you made a name for yourselves. They scouted you. They called you the best of the best. It was with utmost pride and joy that you took the opportunity to prove them correct.
[ Emmet pulls his hand back, surprised. He glances down at it, then back up at the pictures.
A part of him wants to keep touching, but another part of him feels like that would be intruding. They share almost everything, emphasis on almost. He chews at his lip for a moment before glancing back up at the pictures.
He can touch one more, okay. Just one.
He chooses the first one, in the glittering cave. ]
Even before you set out to travel officially, you could spend hours outdoors, building teams. It was sometimes grueling, but always satisfying to you. You could handle the disappointment of not achieving a particular day's goal, but you absolutely couldn't handle Emmet being the disappointed one. Even in a deep cave, one of the more dangerous places to be—you'd brought enough items to prepare for the long haul. That day, in Chargestone Cave, Emmet wanted a Tynamo. And you were going to find a Tynamo, even if you caused a minor cave-in in your intensity. No one was harmed, and Eelektross is a beloved friend now, so you can't hold any regrets!

Eventually, you arrive at Chargestone Cave. (Wasn't that in the opposite direction?)
