She just doesn't know how to handle her feelings. Munna can sense that much. The Psybeam gives enough of a shock to her that she snaps out of it, just regularly embarrassed now.
It has some flashy signs outside of it, where it sits on the far side of the Ferris wheel, so it's not hard to miss even through the fog.
When you knock on the door, security opens it. "Sorry, we're preparing for a show at the moment, so we don't have time to take on any Gym Challengers..."
Elesa appears over his shoulder, stepping forward to take over the conversation in his place. "We'd love them. Thank you for helping out." She holds her hands out for those Pokeballs.
She lets them out of their Pokeballs as she receives them anyway, so she can make sure they're all there.
"Well, that's part of what you're here to help with, right? Ingo would never usually be this thoughtless. But he needs a stronger foundation to keep track of everyone. I'm not sure he even remembers all of these Pokemon exist. He barely remembers me."
"How can you care for something that isn't in your mind at all? He remembers too little. So—why don't you help out a little more? Have a battle with me."
[ he quirks an eyebrow at that, but it's not like Lear's ever going to deny a battle. This is a perfectly reasonable way to ask for help in Pokemon culture. ]
Fine--I see no problems with that. Hit me with the best you have, then!
Sweet Munna's Psychic abilities are too strong for Emolga! Psychic lowers Emolga's special defenses. Even if Emolga gets a slight hit in, it barely does any damage, and Emolga succumbs to Psychic afterwards.
Elesa tilts her head in appraisal of Munna. "What a dazzling performance!"
But... then she strides over, across the catwalk, to lightly paff Lear on the head.
"You can have whatever opinion you want. All I'm asking is for you to not voice that opinion to his best friend who doesn't agree with that opinion. I think agreeing to something so simple is an easy enough request to follow, in exchange for the reward I'm about to give you."
Watch your mouth for five more minutes max, Lear! You can do it!
If this were pre-character development, he couldn't, but thankfully he has at least grown slightly as a person--so he just huffs out a sigh, crosses his arms, and... nods. ]
... Fine, if you're going to insist on it that intently.
You can go to Gear Station if you have any last words or explorations... But if you are initiating the endgame sequence immediately I can just do that in this thread. Either or.

He squashes that thought immediately and heads towards the banging and crashing! Hellooooo? ]

But she is startled by his approach, embarrassed to be caught in the act. She shouts in aggression!

But now he can guiltlessly leave this last fight to Munna! Go, Munna, go!
(Good thing for those two levels, honestly: 10! ]
Munna, we're nearly there now. Psybeam!

She guides you into the building, leading you up onto the runway. She turns to face you once she strides down most of the way.
"Here we are. No need to linger if you're ready for a challenge. Let's show him what we've got, Emolga!"
Emolga bursts out of the Pokeball!

[ this is Munna's show and we're all just here to enjoy it, honestly. ]
Let's get this over with so we can return Ingo to his usual annoying self.
[ /affectionate, probably. ]
Psychic!
[ 11 for sweet Munna! ]

"Don't call my friend annoying, though. Okay?"

I'll do as I please, thank you very much.
[ hmph!! ]
Besides--simply because he's annoying does not mean he is a bad person to be around.

She pulls out a plate and hands it over. The inscription reads: "The third being raged, raining down bolts of anger."
You have obtained a Zap Plate!
