You march forward! The path curves naturally. You see more of the glowing rocks ahead. But—whoa! You've been watching for them, and there's definitely a shadow being cast from above here!

Go! Eelektross!

[ He throws the ball out, moving to attack pre-emptively. don't fall on me you little jerk. ]

Ferroseed plummets down, but Eelektross is ready to intercept! He can have a +1 for that along with any other bonuses.

[ rolled a 9 + 1! Eelektross moves in to crunch the heck out of Ferroseed. Emmet has a pokeball at ready, waiting for the right opportunity to throw it. ]

[derailer]

With as strong as Eelektross is, Ferroseed is easily cronched. It will be caught easily!

[ Eelektross pumps a fist, then points. Onward! ]

There are two hovering rocks next to each other now. Only one of them is accessible to push first. It's too foggy to see anymore, but you probably remember passing the matching rock back in the direction you came from.

[ Emmet moves to push the rock like anyone else in Chargestone Cave — if it doesn't budge the first time, he'll pick another direction and push. ]

[derailer]

You push it, and then push the other rock down to the right, which opens up a path in that direction. You can proceed down that path to another hovering rock, although that one isn't actually blocking your path.

[likewinning]

[ He eyes it with a hum, then pushes it anyway. Maybe it's blocking someone else and maybe that could help. Who knows. ]

[derailer]

Maybe, maybe not. But what you immediately realize is that a wild Joltik was clinging to the bottom of the rock to soak up the energy, dislodged when you push it. It falls to the ground, and crackles with electricity, irritated at the disturbance. It's a Pokemon battle!

Oh! Hello, little one!

[ TIME TO FIGHT, EELEKTROSS! that's a six. hilarious. ]

Joltik immediately crits with a Bug Buzz that would never possibly be this powerful in the wild. Perhaps you have ruined Ingo's mental stat calculation with your ridiculous Joltik-raising ways.

[ wow.

that's actually a little hilarious.

Emmet recalls Eelektross and throws out Archeops, who tosses out a Rock Slide. 8 + 1 = 9, so. you know.

He does also throw a berry though, hoping to maybe distract Joltik enough to catch it. ]

[derailer]

Joltik is prepared to electrocute the hell out of Archeops in retaliation for that painful Rock Slide... but, the berry can give you an extra +1, just barely pushing it over into capture territory. Joltik immediately skitters over to the berry protectively.

[ WHEW.

Emmet throws the pokeball! come here little friend. ]

[derailer]

Hooray! You now have yet another Joltik!

From here you can either go left up some stairs, or to the right.

[likewinning]

[ Let's. let's go left and hope for the best. ]

[derailer]

It looks like it's another dead end over here. The rocks are impassable.

But what you do see... is a Tynamo! It is startled to be discovered, readying itself for attack.

[ GASP. ]

Go, Mamoswine!

[ HERE COMES MISS PIGGY, ICICLE CRASHING IN. also it's a 10.

Emmet has a ball at ready when the time comes. ]

Miss Piggy easily subdues the Tynamo for capture. Yet another Pokemon for the donation pile.

There's only one way left to go!

[ ONWARD, IN THAT DIRECTION! ]

[derailer]

Down this path, even through the fog, you can see the chasm to your left, where Chargestone Cave opens up to see the lower levels. You make it to a thin outcropping with a bridge spanning across the chasm. And then you hear a voice.

"Well, if it isn't Emmet!"

Someone is standing on the bridge, facing you, difficult to see through the fog. How he saw you, you have no idea.

Yes, I am Emmet! Who is there?

[ He squints through the fog, trying to see who it could possibly be. ]
