A generic employee opens the Gym door to receive the Pokemon... but before he can even speak, Elesa—as seen on the train car photos!—comes over and pushes him gently out of the way.
"Emmet! Hilda! You found them!" There is a pause as she realizes she is leaving someone out, and she turns to Lucretia too. "Thanks for all your help."
"It's so good to see you here. I think we're finally going to make a breakthrough here. You're trying to see how much you can regain through battling, aren't you? I think the fog feels lighter already."
For this battle, Elesa sends out Zebstrika. It's a close match! Scrafty is powerful! And Zebstrika doesn't really have anything super-effective either.
"You and your Pokemon's moves are simply dazzling! But I'm not giving up just yet!"
Still, it manages to Flame Charge its way up into doing some decent damage before finally it faints.
Yes. She is very electric. And she senses the hesitation.
"If you'd rather sit this one out, I understand. Maybe this will be a chance for you to learn some more about how the professionals do things. I won't refuse you your reward just because I get two battles instead of three."

She spreads her arms, faux-offended.
"If you're battling, then battle me, too."

She ushers Hilda in, pushing her towards the stage.
"It should help whether I win or lose. But that doesn't mean I'll go easy on you!"

I don't have the best party for this lol. Scrafty with the headsmash to add a +1!]

Hi Elesa. Of course we found them.

She takes a moment to lean in and hug him. She, too, looks a little indistinct around the edges... but she isn't letting that stop her at all.

She leads him over to the stage.
"And make sure you tell the real me all about this later. Especially when I knock out your secret weapon!"

But she wants to help battle first! She's coy about it to Lucretia, but to her battle-freak friends she's admitting it openly.

I might have agreed with that, once, but-- I've found since then that's there no real substitute for doing things yourself.

She leads Lucretia up onto a catwalk, which leads down to a very flashy stage area.

Let's get this show on the road, then.
[she's keeping frillish's pokeball in hand, at the ready.]

She sends out a cute pink sheep. TRY YOUR LUCK, FRILLISH!
