Where else could a Pokemon be hiding? As you attempt to observe your surroundings, you see another large and flashy building at the end of the street, with music faintly audible from within.
As you get closer you can make out the music more distinctly; it's an upbeat musical that's playing inside. Though the crowds are all inside the theater for the show, you can hear someone banging around in tune to the music, outside and much closer to you, just around the building.
[Hearing the music eases Vicious's mind in ways he hadn't been aware of being tense, which makes his brow furrow a bit. He shrugs it off, though, glancing around at his Pokémon before heading around the building.]
She's embarrassed to be discovered, and that is warring with the calming reassurance that it was actually good music... She can't fully reconcile the feelings just yet. She ends up lashing out anyway, sweeping an arm in a threat, so Litten leaps down to intercept her. Powerful Litten gets a +3 modifier here!
Litten doesn't even really need explanation for himself anymore. Or maybe it's that Garbodor was already on the verge of being convinced. One strong burst of flame from Litten is enough for her to calm down and reevaluate her aggression.
She strikes a casual yet confident pose as her associates usher the missing Pokemon inside. "Elesa. The Shining Beauty—professional model, gym leader, and long-time friend of Ingo and Emmet. You're here to help out?"
So I keep bein' told. Name's Vicious. I don't remember anythin' about it, but I don't remember anythin' about anythin'. Ingo knows me, though, so maybe I'll find out somethin' doin' this.
[Of course Vicious just looks at her blankly about the joke. The idea of trainers focusing on a specific type is also new to him. As is the idea that he's supposed to be "training" his Pokemon at all, actually.
He brightens at the battle offer, though.]

[he feels like he should have a catchphrase here...]
"Let's see whose star shines brightest," she says, helpfully filling in her own phrase. "Join me on the stage, won't you?"
She leads you into the gym and up onto the runway. It's a very visible stage here, and already set up for some kind of fashion show about to take place there later, lights bright.
