Munna nods, with a noise of determination! You don't get lost either, Lear!!

You walk along the path for a little while. Before you run into any Pokemon, you run into a strange floating rock that is blocking your path. To the left you see a glimpse of something else in the same electrified blue color as the floating rock.

[hijinked]

[ is this......... a puzzle... oh no.

He frowns a little, but he plants a hand on the rock and gives it a hard shove towards the other bright blue color in the fog. ]

[derailer]

As you shove it, it flies through the cave to become magnetically attached to the other rock, unblocking the path.

You did it! You solved the puzzle! Munna cheers extra hard for you, having sensed how you were nervous about puzzles.

As you move forward, you can either turn left (towards where the other rock was) or keep going straight.

[hijinked]

[ he looks at Munna and... coughs at that exuberance, covering his face with a hand. ]

Just--come on. It isn't as though it was hard.

[ ONWRDS, straight! ]

[derailer]

You continue down the path! ...But is the ground rumbling underneath you? Not like an earthquake. Localized in a very specific spot, but moving around.

[hijinked]

[ this surely seems fine.




Lear is hurrying it up. If he were less of a prince this would be a run. But he's a prince! It is a stately trot. Obviously.

(who's that Pokemon!!) ]

[derailer]

You at least move fast enough to outpace the Drilbur who pops out of the ground; he doesn't catch you with his claws—but you can tell he was trying to!

[hijinked]

[ HELLO DRILBUR THAT'S RUDE. ]

Munna--let's teach this Pokemon some manners!

[ Pokebattle time?? ]

[derailer]

Pokebattle time! Go ahead and roll to fight Drilbur.

[hijinked]

[ raises hands to the sky, my luck is such a traitor to poor Munna.

Anyway that's a 6. ]

Let's open with hypnosis, Munna! Take it off-guard!

[ this is a Poor Opening Move. ]

[derailer]

Of course the Hypnosis does not work. And when Drilbur retaliates with Mud Slap, Munna is only going to keep missing with his attacks from here on out. He makes a pitiful cry, apologetic.

[hijinked]

[ this is his fault, god, he's a bad munna partner!!

Anyway. Of course he's calling Munna back. ]

That's enough, you can have another try later...!

Staraptor, you're up!

[ there's one way to combat the dreaded Mud Slap accuracy decrease...! 9 for Staraptor! ]

[derailer]

Drilbur has Rock Slide too, so you're not getting out of this unscathed, Staraptor! ...but Staraptor does manage to get him good, and he faints. He's just a random wild Pokemon in the end, so it doesn't take much.

[hijinked]

[ this makes his Munna-shaped failures all the more embarrassing. Anyway, Lear just presses a hand to his face for a moment, sighs, and withdraws Staraptor to keep moving forward. ]

[derailer]

Eventually, you come across two blue glowing rocks again—one hovering in midair, blocking your path, and another larger one to the right. Can you solve this puzzle... even without Munna cheering you on?

[hijinked]

[ doubtful tbh--but he will give it a shot regardless, shoving this one towards the larger one to the right. Just to see what happens. ]

[derailer]

You did it! Amazing! Now you can proceed up a slope and go either straight forward or to the right.

[hijinked]

[ wow!!

Let's just keep on moving straight forward. ]

[derailer]

This seems to work out. The path curves a bit. You pass one of the larger blue rocks that is fixed to the ground, before you find two more floating rocks blocking your path.

[ this is terrible, who allowed all of these rocks to be here.

Is he able to push them back towards the fixed rock? What's the layout looking like? ]

[derailer]

You can squeeze past one of the rocks to potentially push it towards the fixed rock, but you couldn't reach the second floating rock to push it without pushing the first.

[hijinked]

[ okay!! time to push the first rock--well, first, then. ]

[derailer]

It flies across the path, successfully magnetized! You can now reach the other rock. It can't be pushed in the same direction you just pushed the first rock, though. But maybe you see a gleam further down the path...

[hijinked]

[ ..... shove! the! rock!

Shove! The! Rock!

Yeah he's gonna shove the second rock towards that gleam in the foggy distance. ]

[derailer]

It works. Hooray! You have cleared the path and can now continue.

But you hear a weird ripping sound from above you as you progress...
