You can squeeze past one of the rocks to potentially push it towards the fixed rock, but you couldn't reach the second floating rock to push it without pushing the first.

[hijinked]

[ okay!! time to push the first rock--well, first, then. ]

It flies across the path, successfully magnetized! You can now reach the other rock. It can't be pushed in the same direction you just pushed the first rock, though. But maybe you see a gleam further down the path...

[ ..... shove! the! rock!

Yeah he's gonna shove the second rock towards that gleam in the foggy distance. ]

It works. Hooray! You have cleared the path and can now continue.

But you hear a weird ripping sound from above you as you progress...

Lear has already used his allotted running amount for the day so he's just gonna look up and see what's happening. ]

Well, be careful, because it's a Ferroseed that is now dropping down about to land on you.

It lands on him, of course. It's a steel seed, it hurts like a bitch. ]

[ Lear is so bad at wild Pokemon. ]

Munna pops out of his Pokeball protectively because OH MY GOD YOU CAN'T BE TRUSTED ALONE!

[ listen, Munna, he appreciates you, but: ]

I'm not about to send you into an unnecessarily difficult fight.

Krookodile, you're up instead!

[ That's a 10 for Krookodile slamming in with some ground moves. ]

Munna wails, but he is just happy you are protecting yourself. Krookodile successfully takes down the Ferroseed without hassle. You can catch it if you want!

You caught Ferroseed! Munna sighs in relief.

After you make your way down some steps, you pass another floating rock and fixed rock combo. But you can squeeze right past them if you want! You don't even need to push the rock.

[ wow, a new Pokemon!! this is enjoyable actually, ignoring the lump on his head.

Anyway.

Squeezing past doesn't even cross his mind, he's gonna push the rock. ]

Unfortunately, a Joltik was on the bottom of the floating rock, leeching off the energy! It falls to the ground. Now that you've disturbed the Joltik, it's angry at you!

[hijinked]

What? What do you want? It really doesn't have to be like this.

[ Lear, the Pokemon isn't listening.



Anyway he sends out Donphan this time. ~Variety~

It goes terribly with a 5. ]

Joltik lets out an overpowering Bug Buzz. There is NO reason why a wild Joltik should be this strong. Ingo's mind is unfortunately just programmed to have extremely strong Joltik in it due to his brother's corrupting influence.

[hijinked]

[ Lear is deeply alarmed by how mighty this Joltik is, what the fuck!!! ]

Donphan, come back!

Krookodile, you're up instead!

[ bug on dark isn't ideal but you know what, maybe desperation will help, so...!

Desperation helps. Joltik gets cocky and greedy, and uses the weaker Bug Bite instead, trying to steal any berries Krookodile might have.

[ whew.......... Lear just runs a hand over his face. wtf. ]

I didn't think Joltiks were that powerful...

[ ... ANYWAY.

ONWARDS!! ]

Onwards! You can either go up some stairs to the left, or go to the right, which seems drafty in comparison to the cave tunnels so far.

[hijinked]

Lear's a fussy prince, so he wrinkles his nose at the draft and moves to the stairs to the left. ]

Unfortunately, it seems like this is a dead end up these stairs. The rocks block passage and there's nothing to push out of the way.

But you do surprise a Tynamo, who crackles with electricity at the disturbance!

[ ..... aw fuck. He is not about this.

Well, there's one Pokemon who hasn't really gotten beaten up, and Lear's kind of getting tired of this, so...! ]

Fine then. Hoopa, you're up! Let's finish this.

[ wow apparently Lear should've been using Hoopa this whole time because that's a 12. ]

That's the legendary edge. Tynamo easily submits to Hoopa's power, drooping. You can catch Tynamo if you want, too!
