At the peak of Mount Coronet, you appear at the ruins of a once-grand temple. Now having been recently destroyed, the broken pillars jut like spears into the sky. Rubble strewn across the ground resembles broken fragments of statues of Pokemon. But there is one single statue that has been miraculously spared—or is it rebuilt? It is an elegant stone statue of a Sneasler.
Instinctively, you realize... if you play an Azure Flute in this place, then your journey will enter the final stage. There will be no turning back after that.
Ahh, now I see what she wants. I think that is doable.
[ There will be no turning back, but that's the point, isn't it? After considering for a moment, Emmet sucks in a bit of air and then lifts the Azure Flute, beginning to play it. ]
You rise above the clouds towards the stars, as if walking on an aurora. The platform you eventually reach has strange shapes drawn across it, their meaning unknown to you.
The divine Pokemon, Arceus, is standing at the other end of this platform.
"From within him, I have observed the dedication with which thou hast pursued this goal," says Arceus. "Dost thou desire this result? Shalt thou test thy determination?"
"Thou wilt not harm me in any meaningful sense. I am but a fragment. A piece that remains within a Sneasler, who remains within a human. So, go without restraint on the strength of thy dedication."
You are holding, suddenly, a golden glowing orb in your hands. If you are to throw it, another one will instantly form. Instinctively you understand that you should try to hit Arceus with these "balms".
"If thou canst overcome this trial, thy quest may receive my blessing."
For this sequence you will alternate between engaging directly with Arceus (no rolls, just vibes) and battling it with your Pokemon (using the rolls as established before). Three successful rolls will mean you have BESTED GOD and are free.
"Hahaha..." Volo says, humoring but not wanting to commit to saying yes or no. "If you don't have any money, I'd accept a trade! I'm really interested in something that I think you have!"
Incidentally, buying the Azure Flute didn't remove those plates from your inventory.
"Though it's very nice, I have my own uniform. You see, I'm actually a fan of ancient myths and artifacts! I would love to get a look at those plates of yours!"
"I think I've heard of them in foreign lands. But, I'm most interested in Hisui! I wouldn't have thought the divine would take an interest in foreigners' technology."

Emmet has already stepped up to play the Azure Flute, and so a shining, translucent staircase leads up into the sky.
Instinctively, you realize... if you scale this staircase, then your journey will enter the final stage. There will be no turning back after that.

Arceus rears up onto its hind legs, light gathering above it. Then, homing lasers shoot out, headed in your direction.
