[Well now he feels like he needs a good excuse to have interrupted this man, after a reaction like that. Oopsie.]
I apologize if you're on your break . . . do you work here? I was only wondering if you know how long I have before the train is running again. Do I have time to go into town?
"It's fine... I'm on the clock. It's just... slow going."
He sounds a little demoralized, but perks up when he rallies to continue.
"So I'd be happy to answer your questions! Yes, feel free to go over to the town! There are some residential buildings off limits, but you'll be able to find the control panel, and our lost and found as suits you! I hope you enjoy your stay!"
[He says that in the accidental way you say it to a service worker, like when you wish your waiter a pleasant meal. But eh, it kinda works. He clears his throat.]
"Right, the control panel. In case you need to adjust the kind of service we'll be providing to our passengers. ...Wait... is that something non-employees are allowed to touch...?"
He pauses, concerned for a moment, but then shakes it off.
"But you guys all have special permission to be in here, right? So it's fine!"
As described, when you cross the bridge, you see a scant few buildings—one labeled as "Lost and Found"—and a large control panel standing alone, facing the many empty train tracks below.
[The control panel is very tempting, but he's also curious about the lost and found, and he heads there first. On second thought, he switches Bronzong out for Sharpedo again. He's not really expecting to need a Pokemon here, but this is bonding time!]
This is a small, unassuming building. There aren't many items visible within it at a glance. There's a counter with a very cute plushie sitting on top. There's another Depot Agent sitting behind the counter, and he's comforting a young girl, who is on the customer side of the counter, crying.
[He knows this plushie! It feels intrusive to interrupt, but that's a hilarious thought, considering that he is currently engaged in an activity beyond all his world's knowledge of what it means to intrude upon a person. So he approaches:]
[This scene is so ordinary that it's uncanny. Who is this girl? What is the Palace symbolism of her having lost her hat, of all things? This could just be something completely unrelated playing out in front of Saturn, except things like that don't just happen in a Palace, do they? The girl has to have a reason for being here in the first place.]
I see . . . I'm sorry to interrupt. Um. Did you lose it in this town, then? What does it look like?
"It's white, and it has a brim, and some patches on it... And, my grandma gave it to me... I had it when I got off the train, but I don't know where it went after that..."
Well. I'm new here, and I'm going to be looking around the town and then heading back to the train when it's time for me to go . . . I can keep an eye out for it, unless you have any other thoughts where it might be. Where did you go, between the train and here?
"I got off the train, and then I waited on the platform for a little while, and then I went onto the bridge and looked out at all the train tracks and the trains going to sleep..."
"Oh—that thing?" asks the Depot Agent. "It's been unclaimed for a while now. If you know where it belongs, then please, go ahead!"
Then, a thought occurs to him.
"Oh, it's Saturn, right? I think I have something for you, too."
He starts digging behind the counter. He sets a gift box up on the counter, and a recipe book, while he's digging through. But under those he manages to uncover a card, which seems to be the thing he was actually trying to locate.
[He takes the plush and tucks it under his arm. He hadn't planned on visiting the Sphinx Line, but surely that's where he should take this, right? But first, he's going to look at this card.]
They make a very adorable crew. The Depot Agent on the bridge turns to watch them approach, having been distracted from his thoughts earlier. "Oh, you have some new friends!"

I'm Saturn. I'll go take a look around, then. I may be back with more questions . . . I'll see first what I can find. Thank you again.
[And into town he goes! Bronzong is still accompanying him, floating by his side.]

Ah . . . is everything all right?

The Depot Agent is clearly apologetic. "Sorry... We'll definitely be on the lookout."

[Cute. Quaint. Seriously, who is this girl? Saturn would expect a young Ingo if this were some representation of himself. But a little girl?]
Perhaps it fell off on the bridge. We could go look. Oh—but before we leave, I recognize that stuffed animal there.
[He gestures to the Sphinx!]
Was it brought in by someone? May I take it back where it belongs?

"Glad I found you! Well, good luck with finding that hat, to both of you!"

[He looks at the card, then folds it carefully and tucks it into the breast pocket of his shirt.
Then he turns to the girl.]
Shall we go check the bridge, then?

[Just a guy and a little girl and a Sharpedo and a plushie heading for the bridge to look at the sleeping trains!]

Yes—actually, I was wondering if you might be able to help us. Have you seen a lost hat around the bridge today? A white one with patches?
