[By possible he means likely, seeing her lean over like that. Whoop. Saturn comes up alongside her to peer over the edge and see if he can spot anything out of place.]
She peers over the other side of the bridge in the same way. This way, you can mostly only see the train you rode in on, and the platform. But since you're looking for it—is that something white on the platform, under one of the waiting benches...?
It does seem to have been her hat, because she's wearing it by the time you catch up, crying out of happiness this time. "Mister, thank you so much...!"
[Awww. HE DID A GOOD THING . . . cute . . . Saturn comes over to gently pat her head. Hat. The hat on her head. Ingo, what is going on with your Palace.]
I'm glad we were able to find it. You did most of the work. Making me think to turn around on the bridge and look.
"I didn't think of anything! I was just asking questions about what you said! You should tell the lost and found man that you found it so he doesn't worry anymore."
If you head straight there then nothing in particular happens on the way back, though the Depot Agent on the bridge smiles in relief at you having resolved the situation.
[Saturn takes it and reads it over . . . he really, really wants to question this situation, but, that seems unwise. He needs these plates! He shouldn't begin asking questions regarding why in the world this is here and whether it's really a good idea to just randomly give it to someone who helped find a hat. Those are the rules of this game, and he has to go with them.
The opposite world, huh. The Distortion World . . . ]
Thank you. I'll take good care of it, I promise.
[And now, at last . . . it's time to head out to that control panel, with the plates, the plushie, and Sharpedo in tow. He probably has a bag with him to carry all this stuff. Pokemon style.]
It's a large panel with various controls. Levers—all labeled—are set at different positions on a 10-point scale. There's also a screen with a keyboard. Displayed on the screen currently are two paintings: one of Emmet and Ingo in conversation, and one of them battling. There's a blinking cursor underneath for different text input, though.
[There he is. That's Ingo! Saturn looks these over carefully. But he's more committing them to memory, for later loving teasing purposes, than trying to decide what to do with them. Deep down, he already knows he isn't going to touch them. There's the violation of doing this Palace in the first place, which Ingo consented to, but this feels like it would be on a level beyond any consent. What would he even change? How would he feel if he saw those changes reflected in Ingo in the future and knew exactly why they'd come about?
He does linger a little over self-esteem. And he mutters to himself, with amusement:]
Only a 5 out of 10 in caution, is that right . . . a 6 in integrity? Bad boy.
[Time to touch his fingers to the screen, over those pictures displayed on it, to see if he feels anything from them.]
Wow. No one wants to hear about it from you, ex-cultist.
These particular pictures don't give you any feelings through the screen. At least not any feelings imposed on you by Ingo's mind, like the other pictures had.
The pictures that were on the screen disappear. There's a brief "loading" icon, and then the image changes to a picture of Ingo waving at the camera.
You realize, with the same sudden understanding of other things, that you can change this image to whatever you want, as long as you have specific enough search terms. (That is to say, your character can't fabricate a memory here, or search for something they're not sure exists to check and see if it does, but they can draw from anything they know exists within Ingo's experiences to bring up an image.)

She picks a spot along the bridge, and then leans over the railing.
"Like this? Are you saying it fell off the bridge, mister?!"

"But wouldn't I have seen it falling down if it did fall off?"

[Time to look off the other side of the bridge in case it went that way!]

[It is! Saturn points, leaning over the railing.]
Is that it down there?

[He waves at her. Goodbye, mysterious little hat girl! Back to the lost and found he goes!]

We found her hat. She insisted I let you know so you didn't worry over it.

He starts digging around again.

[Wait he probably shouldn't refuse it. The whole point of these ventures is to gather things, right?]
...Very kind of you.

You have received a Toxic Plate!

He tries typing on the keyboard:]
Hello.
[Look this is a Palace computer not a real one. This might do something.]
