The amusement park area has a roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, and a building labeled as a "Gym," besides other cute inflatables that probably cannot hide a large rock crab. There's also a bridge leading elsewhere in the city!
[hmm. since hilda headed off to the amusement park area, she will... take the bridge leading elsewhere! divide and conquer. she does make note of where the gym is, though, for later.
lucretia also lets her frillish out of its ball for now, just to be prepared; probably best to let her first time hanging out with this pokemon Not be when she's telling it to attack something.]
Help keep an eye out for anything dangerous, please.
Frillish lets out an eerie ghostly cry, nodding his head. Past Gear Station (where Emmet already seems to be searching), you can make out a bright and identifiable roof. Identifiable if you knew what a Pokemon center was, anyway. It's at least easy to see through the fog, and Frillish gestures in that direction.
[she absolutely does not know a pokemon center-- but a landmark is a landmark, and if her pokemon seems inclined to go that way, then she'll trust it.]
Let's get a move on, then.
[frillish gets a little nod as she heads off toward the pokemon center!]
Frillish is inexperienced in the same way Lucretia is, and isn't as savvy as the competitively-trained Crustle... It's maybe not surprising, in that light, that Frillish has a huge amount of HP stolen away by a critical hit from Crustle's Stone Edge! Frillish is barely hanging on! What will Lucretia do?!
[okay, after seeing this poor jellyfish barely hanging on, she does what any reasonably healthy person in possession of an animal that's getting injured in their place (and unaware they are right next to healing) would do.
lucretia puts herself between them. she can probably take a hit from this crab, but frillish doesn't look like it can take a second one.]

-you're likely right about that. I doubt I'd miss this one.

What do you know, it's actually Crustle! Feel free to add a modifier for those super-effective moves you were checking out, if you roll to engage it!

[crustle SPOTTED. she gestures for frillish to go ahead and attack!]
Let's get this taken care of, shall we?
[the good news: frillish has a +2 on this roll
the bad news: i rolled double ones. so with a 4, this is... going to be a time.]

[she exhales a relieved sigh, when he shows up with archeops, and scoops frillish up to get it safely out of the way.
if he happens to hear something that sounds like a low, echoing musical note, don't worry about it.]
