...ah. I think that's-- I don't know if it's a good sign, but it's a sign, for sure.
[she's kneeling down to check out one of those plants, while she listens to whatever the sound is-- can they hear more or less where it's coming from?]
Flareon creeps forward, too. It starts sounding like the voice is coming from underneath you, echoing. It's difficult to spot even when you're being careful about your approach, because of the snowstorm and everything being a haze of white. But there's a large hole where the ground opens up to an icy cavern.
"We're saved!" sobs the voice. If you are being careful about peering in, you can see about five people at the bottom of this hole, but it's as if you're on the second floor of a building while they're on the first. It's quite a drop, and the cavern walls are made of solid ice, with curved walls. There's no way they can climb up. Not all of the people in the pit even seem fully conscious.
...we're going to have to find some way to get them out. Flareon, if you can get down there safely-- they're going to need warmth in these conditions, best not to wait.
[she's gauging the distance, meanwhile, considering. how big is that abomasnow they have again?]
If we heal up our new friend here a bit, then maybe it can lend a hand.
I'm fine with seeing if it'll be big enough, once we heal it. I don't think Flareon is going to be able to make it back up, and Sigilyph isn't really capable of carrying anyone with that weight, but...
... Actually, you're part Psychic too, huh? [ studying her HISTORICAL MARVEL. ] Do you think you could telekinetically lift them up here?
[ One never knows unless one asks. ]
Or we can see what we might be able to use for rope, but I don't know the state of everyone in there...
Sigilyph nods, bobbing in midair. She can at least try that! And it would have fewer complications than all these other options. Since she's flying anyway, she floats down into the cavern. The people are intimidated by the unknown Pokemon, but they at least seem to recognize she's allied with you trainers.
Either way, it won't hurt to heal it and ask it to help us get them back. Not everyone is conscious.
[They can, at least, split the load if Sigilyph can help get them out.
So-- Abomasnow is getting released in order to give her a little healing! Either one or two potions, depending on how badly off she still is after one.]
...we'll get you fully healed up after this, I promise. We just need to save as much as we can right now.
One potion doesn't get Abomasnow back to full health, but she's sturdy and healthy enough to pick up some people to help carry them back to camp. Sigilyph safely levitates the people out of the cavern one by one. Of the five people, one is unconscious, two are seriously injured enough to not be able to walk on their own, and two have superficial enough injuries to be able to move by themselves.
[With the majority needing help- okay. Definitely Abomasnow time.]
Can you help carry two safely? If so, then-- Da Vinci, if Sigilyph can keep that up with at least one to make it back, we should be able to get everyone home.
The group as a whole is looking warily at Abomasnow. "The alpha that chased us..." But, after a moment passes where Abomasnow makes no hostile moves, they exchange glances with each other.
One man who has only minor injuries offers: "I can help, too." He goes over preemptively to help support someone. Sigilyph lifts a woman with broken legs into midair with telekinesis, and the unconscious man is left for Abomasnow to carry. He's too unconscious to be freaked out about it.
[Look, it's fine, the alpha is a friend now that they've defeated it.
She'll help support wherever it's needed, but before they get going:]
Irida mentioned you were out searching for supplies. If there's more that needs to be brought back to make sure you're all fed and cared for after you return, let me know, and I'll catch up with the rest of you later.
[It won't do to bring them home if they can't properly recover when they get there, and she and Frillish can take a detour.]
"We—we gathered some... I don't think any of us will go hungry, even if our supplies for the future are low. We'll send out another party soon, after the storm! Please take care, and stay safe for now!"

The sound is coming just slightly further down in the direction where you were originally headed.

Sorry, buddy. [ to the newly-caught Snover in the Pokeball-- ] I'll give you a potion once we get through this.
Lucretia, let's proceed carefully.

[So she'll stick close, both for the lantern light and to make sure they're both nearby if anything happens.]

"Help..."
You don't see anyone, but...!

[ More careful proceeding and she's keeping Sigilyph out, casting the lantern about to try to catch a glimpse of anything. ]

[onward toward that sound! she's hurrying a bit, as much as is reasonable given their caution.]

If you let out Abomasnow to check the height, she's 10'10" or 3.3 meters tall.

We should get you back as soon as we can--Irida was worried about all of you.
