derailer | A Faraway Place - Pokemon Dressing Room Info Post

Since I'm playing from a PSL that did some slightly wacky things, I feel I should clarify where I'm coming from! The most relevant points are bolded for quick skimming.

Ingo is taken post-PLA (including DLC), but he suddenly reappeared in Unova's Gear Station again one day, as mysteriously as he disappeared. He took a nap at his camp in the Coronet Highlands, and woke up on a subway car.

He remembers everything that happened to him in Hisui.

He did not immediately remember everything about Unova, but after reuniting with Emmet, he started remembering more and more, until one day, in a dramatic Pokemon battle, he remembered everything at once.

So he remembers everything from Unova AND Hisui. But because it took him a few weeks to remember, Emmet has a lot of embarrassing stories to tell about him while he was still an amnesiac in the big city :'(

It has been only a couple of months since he returned to Unova.

likewinning is "his Emmet," by which I mean the one who comes from this PSL canon. Other Emmets should obviously play with me, and Ingo will care for them all, but he will be able to quickly tell that they do not share the exact same experiences as His Emmet does.

He's nebulously in his thirties. I haven't decided what age specifically for this PSL.

He was in Hisui for five years. (Five years also passed in Unova.)

He shaved his goatee and wears a brand new Battle Subway uniform, so his icons are mostly inaccurate, except for the lines under his eyes that mark him as more old and tired than BW/B2W2 era.

Though this region is very tropical, and he might wear casual, non-uniform clothes too. So as to not die from the heat.

In his version of PLA, the protagonist was Akari.

While in Hisui, he did all of the Path of Solitude with Akari. That is to say, he battled every single Pokemon in Hisui, including the legendaries.

Some time after he returned to Unova, he found a couple of Arceus Plates in the ruins near Undella Town, and through PSL magic, Lady Sneasler also appeared in Unova very suddenly afterwards. So Lady Sneasler is also one of "his Pokemon". (He feels wrong keeping her in a Pokeball, and he will let her do what she wants here. This is going to go wrong instantly.)

He has all of his Hisuian Pokemon and Unovan Pokemon accessible through the PC, because his Hisuian Pokemon also mysteriously appeared in his PC when Lady Sneasler appeared.

Ingo's disappearance caused a media sensation, especially after a true crime podcast got involved. The true crime podcast didn't say that Emmet murdered him, but it's just asking questions about how "suspicious" Emmet was acting, OK? Ingo just got back to experience this trending topic himself, but since it caused Emmet a lot of grief, he is much more negative about mass media and the Internet, and self-conscious of the impressions people might have of either of the twins.

For random headcanon notes, I play him as demi and pansexual, and neurodivergent (unspecified).

He has been in a few romantic/sexual relationships in Unova and Hisui, but not currently, and only with random NPCs. I acknowledge that this is a dressing room and someone can still play his random exes if they want. But I, I'm not springing that on anyone. You have to opt in to that adventure. So no matter what random NPC you play, I will not spring a past relationship on you unless you want me to. FEEL SAFE! STAY SAFE OUT THERE!!

It is perfectly fine to assume that your character is from a different timeline and none of these things need to be true for you. But if you would like to be from the same "universe" as my Ingo/would like to assume shared CR, feel free! I love it! (Though the nature of twins might mean also conferring with my Emmet player.)
